Puff Quilt Blog Hop
Charity Quilt
Blog Hops are so much fun, especially when they include new fabric releases. Before we get to the current hop I have to share a previous blog hop. The 2022 September Blog Hop was to feature new collections from Island Batik and Deb Tucker Studio 180 tools. You can see more about the fabric and my quilt here.
In October I contacted the St Clair County Historical Society in Alabama who cares and maintains the Robert Looney home. The home is a 200 year old log cabin that almost burned to the ground in August of last year. Through volunteers and fundraisers they are hoping to restore history and the home, and to begin their educational tours once again. They thought a quilt raffle was a wonderful idea and have been selling tickets for the quilt since. The raffle is coming to an end Feb 25, so if you are in or near St Clair County, Al reach out for a raffle ticket. A brief history of the home can be found here.
