Put your foot down
Put your foot down is a weekly linky party occurring every Thursday for you to share your WIP’s, UFO’s, new finishes, or any fiber arts projects.

Crazy Quilt is What’s under my foot
This past weekend I worked to finish up the April Island Batik Crazy Quilt Challenge. The Crazy Quilt block I made in Embrilliance and I’m pretty happy with it since I am not a digitizer. For the last couple of months I have been searching the internet for small designs I could add to my finished blocks. Below is my initial fabric pull with Aurifil Jade Vine Color Builder I received in the first Island Batik box of the year. I love green and I love Jade (the stone) so Jade Vine was really an inspiration for me. The photo on the right was my first of many test blocks.

Silly Loki was at it again, he didn’t want to share his time with my sewing commitments. Seriously, he has to be the center of attention always. I would love to tell you his photo was staged but it truly was not. The photo on the right is block 1. I love the texture Heirloom® Premium 100% Wool batting adds to any quilt.

Monday I will share the finish, so stop in Monday or next weeks Put your foot down to see more.
