Welcome to the Pattern Testers Quilt Wall. Pattern testers are an important part of my design process and every pattern I sell have been tested by at least two other quilters besides myself.
This page is dedicated to those who have accepted the challenge I have thrown at them, including those who are not listed.
Christine pulled it off again, before long I will have to dedicate an entire page to her. When I asked if she would like to test this pattern for me and the limited time frame I was planning she jumped right in and finished with time to spare. She is my angel. She will be updating her site the first weekend in August with 2020 quilt retreats so be sure to visit. You can view her site here.
I love the fabrics Christine used in Xando. It made me think of younger years and the Neil Diamond song “Forever in bluejeans”. She was a pleasure to work with and I hope to share more of work in the future. Please visit her here.
Sandie from Canada
Remember the Mosaic QAL? Sandie was one of the participants in the QAL and this is her finished top. She made it her own by swapping out the center geese with crosses in the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock blocks. She also added a flying geese border instead of the arch design and expanded the top with a solid border. Although she wasn’t testing the pattern I felt this quilt deserved a permanent home on my site. I love the colors and the changes she made.
Andrea from Missouri
Andrea from Missouri, USA tested Nostalgia Twist last year. Don’t you just love what she did with the fabric? The pattern offers 2 different basket patterns or I suggest you add your own favorite block, which she did. I’m not sure what the name of the block is, see the 4 corner blocks that look round next to the Delectable Mountains? Sorry folks, she doesn’t have a blog.
This was Lori’s first paper pieced quilt and I was thrilled she volunteered to be a tester for this top. Lori is an active blogger and often has several projects going at once. She never disappoints me with her wide range of quilting and crafts and willingness to try new things. Head over to see the quilted top and what she is currently working on here..
Cherie’s Quilting Journey
For the love of geese
When Cherie agreed to test this pattern she was not only new to paper piecing, she was also at the beginning of her quilting journey. For the love of geese was the first pattern I offered for sale so when she finished the top with no major problems I was ecstatic. Cherie is an active blogger who honestly shares her learning experience with us all. She has a great eye for color and if this is not proof enough… well then go see for yourself here.
