Put your foot down #114
Put your foot down is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way.
Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.

Yesterday was the first day of my new sew along. I’ve hosted a few sew alongs but never a mystery quilt sal. So this should be fun. Click on the logo above to be taken to the info and download page, if you’d like to join.

This is what’s been under my foot, the Island Batik September challenge using a bag pattern from ByAnnie. The pattern I chose is In Control. Because I didn’t want to overload you today I’ll share my finish on Monday.
Miss Ella’s first quilt

Over the weekend I had company, my sister and her grand daughter Ella came to sew. Well, Ella and I sewed. Using some scraps I had laying around I quilted and bound a small quilt for her to decorate. She had a lot of dies from AccuQuilt to choose from and she chose dinosaurs and stars. She also had a wide assortment of Island Batik fabrics to choose from.
Grammy and I ended up decorating it a little more with butterflies to fill in the open space.
Virtual quilt show
A few weeks ago I entered a couple of my quilts in a virtual quilt show held by Sewing Machines Plus for a viewers choice award. You can enter once a day and the best part is you don’t have to enter your email unless you would like to be entered for prize giveaway yourself. Otherwise, just click here and you will be taken to the entries, vote on your home decor and garment choices and that is it. I would love it if you would hop over and vote and I would love it even more if you voted for one of my quilts but it’s okay if you do not.
I love this in all it’s fiery glory from Quilt Schm
Who doesn’t love a cute puppy dog? Even if you prefer cats this quilt is just irresistible from Grace and Peace Quilting.

That will be so much fun ?
Hi Denise. Thank you so very much for showcasing my Phoenix Rising quilt! It was such a wonderful compliment. I love Miss Ella’s quilt. What fun it is teaching the littles to share our love of playing with fabric. Your In Control bag looks interesting. I voted! ?
You’re welcome.Thank you for voting and I will pass the compliment on to Ella. She showed interest in the sewing machine, are we gonna use that? Definitely another day.
