Put your foot down is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.
Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the first Put your foot down of the year. I have a lot to share with you today. First…
My 4th year as an Island Batik Ambassador is in full swing. The boxes arrived…
and I’ll be sharing the contents soon. There is one thing I can share with you today and you will see the finished quilt in a few days as I waiting for the wind to die down outside. I’ll tell ya, it’s either too windy or it’s raining. Anyway, here is a sneak peak of the new Gradations fat quarter bundle from Island Batik, Opulent Orange.
The Gradations packs will include 20 fat quarters. There are Blacks, Browns, Blue, Green, Multi Color, Neutrals, the Orange above, Purple, Pink, Red and Teal. If you follow other IBA’s you will be seeing them this month since our challenge was to use the Gradations bundle we received . Below is a second project using Opulent Orange.
My Loki, oh he is a little devilish. There are multiple toys in my sewing room for him to play with but as you can see, he prefers scraps. That is all him, I promise I am not that messy.
Jan 28th- my day to share. The charity I have chosen is Quilts of Valor. AccuQuilt has teamed up with Moda for a year long campaign, Covering the World, One Quilt at a Time. You can see more here.
Jan 31st- The first Island Batik Blog Hop begins and wouldn’t you know it, my day is Jan 31st. This project will also be a QOV.
Feb 7th- Scrap Busting Blog Hop. Will be sharing a free pattern that is great to clean up some of those scraps.
This explains why I have been mostly absent the last couple of weeks. 4 projects and the holidays, it was a little busy but I am happy to report that all is complete except for one. There is only the label left to add and finish the binding.
Your shares from last week
