Put your foot down #131
Put your foot down is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.

Welcome everyone. The sewing machine has been humming along and creating lots of goodies.
The first challenge of 2022 as an Island Batik Ambassador was a success in my eyes. They sent me a bundle of bright yellows, oranges and rich reds for a gradation quilt. All of these fabrics are from the Foundation Collection which means they are always available. You can view the post and list of fabrics here.

Flower Patch SAL block 9 was released this week.

And…I played with my new Bernette B79 sewing/embroidery machine. It is an amazing machine and it loved Aurifil Thread as much as I do. You’ll have to wait to see what this label was for until Jan 28th.

Your shares from last week
OMG, we had a lot of creativity last week and it was difficult choosing just a couple projects to highlight. Since we had 2 owl projects and I love owls..
This baby owl from Quilting Patchwork Appliqué is so darned cute.
I can’t say for sure that owls and bees would be friends in real life, but this owl by Anne-Marie of Stories from the Sewing Room looks to be protecting or welcoming them.
Happenings
In the next couple of days I will be sharing a free pattern along with my latest quilt. So stay tuned.
Jan 28th- my day to share. The charity I have chosen is Quilt of Valor. AccuQuilt has teamed up with Moda for a year long campaign, Covering the World, One Quilt at a Time. You can see more here. Island Batik sent me fabric for the project.
Jan 31st- The first Island Batik Blog Hop begins and wouldn’t you know my day is a couple days later, Jan 31st. This project will also be a QOV.
Feb 7th- Scrap Busting Blog Hop. Will be sharing a free pattern that is great to clean up some of those scraps.

Denise your Bargello is such a bright, happy finish. Love it!
Thanks Carol. Watching it and waiting for spring.
These yellows are gorgeous and what an imaginative design you stitched! You are off to a great 2022 start with your stitching!
Thank you
I love your Bargello quilt, so bright and vibrant!
Thank you. I have a couple strips packs that have been laying around for many years, perhaps its time to open them and make something.
