Put your foot down 140
Put your foot down 140 is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.
What’s under my foot
Well, mostly Loki. Normally he would be running around playing with fabric scraps or at my feet looking out the window. On this day he was mesmerized by the sewing machine.

The April Island Batik challenge was to make a Funky Friends Factory toy, the one of our choice. For my monkey I chose the yellow and green solids from the Foundation Collection, I’m in John Deere country. I was a little worried since I don’t use many patterns but it is very thorough and easy to follow.

Your shares from last week
In last weeks linkup you all shared some really beautiful and creative projects.
DONNALEEQ shared her progress on Flower Garden Down Under. It is so cheerful.
Melva shared her Orphan No More Quilt. You can read more at Melva Loves Scraps.
What’s under your foot?
Thank you to everyone who has been linking up.

Hi Denise, your Loki is so cute 🙂 Are you making the Funky Friend for him? Looking forward to seeing it. Take care.
No, he has several toys but I wish I knew what material I could use that wouldn’t rip so easy. His little teeth are like needles and he punctures the squeaky after a few short days then destroys the rest. We laugh at him all the time. He is almost a year old and knows my schedule, I am a creature of habit.
I love this one! Too cute!
Me too. As soon as I knew the Sock Monkey was an option there was no making up my mind.
