Put your foot down 141
Put your foot down 141 is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.
What’s under my foot
Welcome and thank you for stopping by to link up. Last week Put your foot down I shared the start of a sock monkey and it is finished. This week I am working a Quilt of Valor for a truck driver friend who was in the Gulf War.

The fabric is from the Island Batik Foundations collection and is White, Candy and Storm. The patches were cut using the 8″ Mix n Match Qube from AccuQuilt for a 12″ finished block.

Hopefully this weekend it will be on the quilt frame. Seriously, I really need to get my room straightened up so I have access to the design wall. That is it for me this week.
Flower Patch SAL
The Flower Patch SAL is nearing it’s end with 2 more blocks and a border to go. Block 14 was released yesterday and I am really enjoying looking at it.

Your shares from last week
Speaking of flowers. The first day of Spring here in the US has come and gone but it still feels like winter.

These lovely tulips from Making A Lather bring a smile to my face…
along with this lovely floral from Canadian Needle Nana. Oooh, look at those flying geese!
