Put your foot down 142
Put your foot down 142 is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.
What’s under my foot
Over the weekend a friend called and asked if I would be interested in looking at some fabric from a deceased friends stash. This is what I brought home along with a new Rowenta iron, some scissors and a few other odds and ends.
And a huge mess. This is what my room looks like after completing several projects with deadlines. It has been straightened but since the fabric cabinets and wire storage rack will be moving to another room I’m not stressing too much. Pano photos sure look strange.
I sure hope you have been more productive this week and I look forward to seeing what you have made.
Your shares from last week
Anne-Marie from Stories from the Sewing Room shared her progress on the Flower Patch SAL. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Nancy from Grace and Peace shared her Spools Wall Hanging.
Hi,
Awesome new fabrics you got. I like them…but I like most fabrics…I can see lots of
quilts coming out of this fabric. Have a great day!
Oh yes for sure. But they will have to wait until I am caught up on what I have to do.
For sure, but they will have to wait until I finish what I have to do.
My sewing room looks that way after deadlines, too. I just toss things to the side and move on to the next thing. It’s what creative people do! Sounds like you received some wonderful items to use.
Lol, that is kinda what I have been doing too and then Loki has his way with the trash. He loves the small fabric pieces and paper.
Looks like a lot of great yardage that you’ll be able to put to good use in honor of your friend’s friend. Thank you for featuring my spool quilt!
You’re welcome, thank you so much for always joining .
