Put your foot down 146
Put your foot down 146 is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.
First I would like to apologize for last week. My older sister passed and it was just not a good week at all, and we buried her on Thursday. The linky party never crossed my mind until a couple days ago.
Welcome to a late start today, a day I do have a finish to share.
What’s under my foot
A couple days ago I shared my TriAngle Tricks finish for the May Island Batik Challenge.
The challenge was to make a quilt any size with triangles and I’d been dying to use die #13 from the Angles Companion set from AccuQuilt. You can see more about the fabric and die here.

Yesterday was the release of the border for Flower Patch SAL. I of course am behind on that finish due to the funeral and an injured knee. But here is what it looks like.

Your shares from 2 weeks ago
Nanette from Chopin – A Passionate Quilter From Texas shared her Stars Around the Garden. Isn’t it dreamy?
Nancy from Grace and Peace Quilting shared Lynn’s adorable truck quilts
What’s under your foot?

Hi Denise, I’m so sorry to hear about your sister’s passing. That must have been a very tough week. My thoughts are with you and your family. Your triangle quilt is lovely 🙂 I even got a chance to use an AccuQuilt Go! on my quilting retreat. I’ll share the link also. Take care of yourself.
Thank you Andrée, much appreciated. Cant wait to see what all those patches you cut are going to be.

Thanks Vicki
Your challenge is beautiful. It’s just vibrating triangles! I’m not sure about binding those angles though. My sympathies in the death of your sister. Take care.
Thank you. I wish I’d had more of the fabric to make it larger, the fabric is gorgeous.
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your sister. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Thank you so much
