Put your foot down #15
What’s under my foot?
I’m proud to say my lengthy list from Monday has been shortened. Storm at Sea quilt top is complete and quilting has begun, I can’t wait to share this finish and tutorial. The small October hop mini is complete. The September hop quilt is quilted and waiting for binding, this one I will be making again soon. This evening I plan to hand sew the label onto the secret quilt and finish off the binding. That is if the post office delivers the label today. The tracking shows delivery will be today but I’m not holding my breath. The last couple of daily texts I have received all say the same thing, “Departed USPS Origin Fclty Phoenix, Az. How can the same item leave the same facility 3 days in a row? ” LOL!
The new list:
Commissioned quilt
Binding and label on secret sewing
Binding on 4 quilts
It sure doesn’t seem to be getting any shorter but I do have a great sense of relief and accomplishment so far this week.
Here’s a sneak peak at the Snails Trail block that will border the SAS quilt using AccuQuilt SAS block on board die, quarter square triangle die and half square triangle die. Tutorial coming the end of September.

Shares from last week
The Island Batik Beat The Heat blog hop featuring their latest fabric collections has ended but there are still so many beautiful creations floating around online. Purple Mountain Majesty by Storied Quilts made this striking quilt using the Quiet Shades Collection. Look at that color placement.
Vicki from Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting received the Seedling Collection from Island Batik. I love the earthy colors in this collection, peach and green always draw my attention.
