Put your foot down #20
Welcome to another Put your foot down linky party. While I don’t have much to share today I have been hard at work behind the scenes.
What’s under my foot?
Pascal’s triangle quilt of course, the quilting is about 40% complete. Practicing my ruler work but I couldn’t help but throw some large feathers in the mix. Hopefully I will have a finished share soon. But this isn’t the only thing I have been working on. My new AccuQuilt die arrived Saturday and I have been playing with ideas to pass a long cold winter. The dies are amazing and I just want to buy buy buy. They save so much time cutting and I have a feeling this will be my new addiction, purchasing more.
Another item on my list, updating my patterns. My LQS has told me several times she would sell my patterns for me and I discovered why I have waited so long to jump on the bandwagon. As you know, most of my patterns are foundation paper pieced and deciding how and who should print these have been a struggle. To keep my costs and your’s low I have decided to include all the norm; front cover, directions and clarifications to diagrams, coloring sheet, and one master template for you to print your own at home. I’ve had to add a back cover. For the LQS I can hand deliver these but wholesale customers…wow, can you imagine the shipping if I printed all templates? Now I know why paper pieced patterns are so expensive.

Reader shares from #19
Oh my gosh I am feeling the love. with so many linking up last week. It was truly the most difficult to choose just two project to feature, so if you missed #19 please go check them out here.
First I have to share Kathleen’s September Island Batik Child’s Play finish. I love what she has done with the fabrics, it’s such a great finish.
Michelle from My Bijou Life took a hiatus from quilting but she couldn’t resist this cute applique elephant pattern.

The rules are simple. Any current crafty project is welcome, just please link back to my page (or grab the html code below) somewhere in your post.
Visit as many links as time allows. Most of all, have fun and make new friends. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for weekly linkies I participate in.
This Island Batik Ambassadors event with Accuquilt as one of the sponsors is working as planned. I’m seeing all the great projects everyone is going and I’m now lusting after a Go cutter too. I have a feeling it won’t be too long until I too am thinking of buying dies as a new hobby, LOL. We just have to budget to buy the cutter first. I’d want to buy it and a bunch of basic dies to start and that, in CAN$ plus shipping will cut into my fabric budget and more.
Oh I understand that. Once you try it you will be hooked. I just purchased a custom die.
Thanks for the share. I love linking up when I have a finish.
I love when you do, your projects are always lovely.
