Put your foot down 207, is a weekly linky party occurring every Thursday for you to share your WIP’s, UFO’s, new finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for linking up each week!

Whats under my foot…

is the AccuQuilt North Carolina Star 12″ block die and Blushing Garden designed by Kathy Engle for Island Batik.

Loki is such a boss!

The die is to be used for the Island Batik October challenge, any size, using the IB fabric of our choice. Because I only used 3 fabrics last month from the Blushing Garden collection I thought it would be fun to use some of the fabrics that I hadn’t for September.

The block has been fun to play with color and shape placement. There are already a lot of shapes in the block and being a gluten for punishment I replaced the corner block with 4 triangles for the die board. Here are my layout choices. I love these fabrics for a nice warm fall finish. Speaking of warm, we were 90 degrees yesterday, not normal for us.

Some of the products featured on this site were provided to me free of charge by Island Batik, Hobbs Batting, Aurifil , AccuQuilt, Deb Tucker Studio 180 Designs and Schmetz Needles.

Care to guess which block layout I chose?
