Put your foot down #4 linky party
What’s under my foot?
Welcome to Put your foot down #4. First I’d like to thank you for stopping by and I hope you will share your quilty or fiber art project while you are here.
This week I am doing a little secret sewing with this gorgeous Freedom Collection from Island Batik. It’s actually the 2nd quilt I have made using the same line, both of which will be revealed next month. I’m so excited over the Quilts of Valor quilt, I awarded it Memorial Day weekend and I had one surprised veteran. So check back on July 1st for the QOV blog hop and reveal. Date to be announced on my current quilt.
The last couple of weeks I have shared with you new additions to my sewing space and decided to expand on it. Hopefully you will find something useful to make your space more comfortable. It’s difficult setting up a small functional sewing room with everything you need and still have room to move around.
Beth over at Cooking up quilts is remodeling her sewing room and has some good ideas as well.

Week 1-Storage ideas
Week 2: Cutting/pressing station
The 3rd installment will be posted in a week or two. Until then come back Monday for my June Island Batik challenge finish.

Ah, thank you for your kind words about my owls. I’ll try to make some more of them soon.
You’re welcome. Anything owls make me smile.
Hi Denise! Lovely fabrics for a QOV project. I have always wanted to get involved making QOV pieces. I’ll be sure to watch for updates on your secret sewing. ~smile~ Roseanne
Thank you Rosanne. I got very creative with the QOV design and it really felt good to make an old veteran’s day. It was very rewarding. You should really experience it if only once and aware the quilt yourself.
