Put your foot down #49
What’s under my foot?
Masks and more masks. I am also preparing a post for the Island Batik Ultimate Home Decor Blog Hop that begins next week. Earlier in the week I shared the collection I received from Island Batik for this hop which is Nordic Nature by Kathy Engle. It will begin shipping to lqs this month.
I especially love the rich greens and beige in the collection and the pop the red added to my project.
For my project I am using my paper pieced hexi templates. If you haven’t checked these out hop over to the Free Patterns page. It is not EPP but I suppose you could trim the templates for this.
Your shares from #48
I love this runner from Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting that was inspired by a recent trip.
Hexi quilts are amazing and this one by Chantal from At the corner of scraps and quilts is amazing.
Good morning, Denise! Those fabrics from IB are certainly gorgeous. I, too, appreciate that nice deep forest green. It goes so nicely with the tan/beige and the pop of red. I guess taking a cue from nature ensures that every color plays nicely together. Thanks for the linky party! I am happy to have something to actually share for a change. ~smile~ Roseanne
Yay, I will have to go see it. These colors fit into my home decor or lack of it. It looks so nice sitting in the window and makes me smile. Cant wait to share it.
That Island Batik pack is pretty, such rich deep colors.
Wouldn’t it be beautiful for a Christmas quilt?
Aww thanks for the feature Denise! Made me smile this morning as I am having my coffee:) Can’t wait to see your red and green IB project.
You’re welcome. It was such a pretty runner, I loved the design and the fabrics you chose.
