Put your foot down #65

What’s under my foot?

Welcome to Put your foot down, glad you stopped by and I hope you’ll share what you’ve been working on.

In case you were wondering I’m still not sleeping in my bedroom. Half of the baseboard is down and the door from outside is mostly repaired, it just needs trim.  Hmm, maybe next week.

Aside from that I have had a successful week in my sewing room and am currently working on the September blocks and post for the Log Cabin Tree of Life QAL. I’ve finally relaxed a bit since I have finished my Island Batik Blog Hop project for September, all that is left is writing the post.

The project for Hello Fall Blog Hop is on the quilt frame awaiting quilting. Just need to write that post when I am finished.

I still need to write a post for the It’s a Garden Party Row Along.

Most importantly, the Quilter’s World Magazine quilt is complete, pattern written and should be in the mail to them this weekend. It’s due Sept 11th so I was really sweating this one and obviously there was no reason to. My favorite saying though is, “if I’m not early I am late”, that should  explain the nerves.

Your shares from #64

Chris from Quilting at the Farm shared this gorgeous applique block.

Anne-Marie of Stories from the Sewing Room shared her progress on For the love of geese. You might get hungry when you visit her today.

  1. Hi Denise, I’m really looking forward to seeing all of your projects. I guess I had better get started on my Hello Fall piece. I just can’t decide!!! You really like to be early….I would rather procrastinate if I can 🙂
    Take care.

    1. Oh yes, it makes me a nervous wreck if I have a deadline for more than once project. Even though I knew deep down I would have all of them ready on their day, anything could happen and throw me behind. I can’t wait to see what you decide for Hello Fall.

  2. Hi Denise. You are certainly a busy lady. Hope you are getting enough rest even though you are not back in your room.

I have started my post for “It’s a Garden Party” but need to get it done too. I hope my rafflecoptor works ok. I have not done that before.

    1. The bedroom is 99% complete, we slept in the new bed Saturday and Sunday. I’m so happy about that. Glad to hear I am not alone with finishing up that post and worrying about the rafflecopter.
