Put your foot down #127
Put your foot down is a weekly linky party to share your fiber arts WIP’s and finishes, and hopefully make new friends along the way. Welcome, I invite you to stop in every Thursday and share your projects.

Sorry about being a little late this morning, its been a busy week and I have a couple new finishes.

Loki posing with my December Island Batik finish. The challenge was EPP and my fingers couldn’t tolerate anything much larger than a topper for my cedar chest.

And a finish for the Virtual Cookie Exchange Blog Hop. Finally, I was able to play with the Bernette I won a couple months ago and its decorative stitches. First I used the 6″ Crazy Quilt die from AccuQuilt and pieced 6 blocks. Then I sandwiched it and cut my stocking using their Stocking die. I’m not real happy with the cuff at the top and next time I will do something different.

Block 7 for the Flower Patch Sew Along was also released this week, it is the block in the center.
Your shares from last week
And…speaking of the Flower Patch SAL, Anne-Marie of Stories from the Sewing Room shared block 4

Hi Denise! Aww, Loki looks so darn cute on that wonderful runner. What pretty colors you chose to feature! That looks like a LOT of work but the labor was worth the effort for the end result. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
He has amazed me when I tell him him to stay for a photo op. Perhaps one day he will come running one day for a photo op the way Enzo did, he never needed coaxing. Oh yes, I love the runner. It is so dark in the house except for 2 hours a day, not in the winter tho, and these fruity colors brighten the dark space and remind me spring is almost here. Looking forward to seeing the little Christmas this year.
Hi Denise, thanks so much for linking up to Free Motion Mavericks last week – you are now featured…well Loki is 🙂
Your 7th block looks great for your Flower Patch SAL. What is it about your stocking that you didn’t like? Looks fine from here. If you have anything else to post, I’m late posting but it’s up too! Take care.
Thank you, I will be right over. On the cuff, I did not sew a seam down the front of it and a couple extra stitches. Always trying improve on something.
