Update on the Inventory Quilt

For the love of geese is complete x 2. Last week after it was loaded on the frame and quilting started I noticed a few misplaced border blocks. Since I hadn’t done much quilting I removed it from the frame and corrected my mistake. No new photo since correction.

There’s still time to join in and take advantage of 20% off on this pattern using JWQ20 in my Etsy shop, click link at top of page.

  1. Hi Denise! I have a question for you – is this the same pattern that Cherie tested for you a while ago? It may be similar, if not the same. Also, is the very center fabric repeated in one of the flying geese rounds? It’s hard to tell in the photo. I sure wish I could see this piece in person as I think it is just gorgeous. Really, really, REALLY nice job Denise. Thanks for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. It is the same pattern Cherie tested. I’ve updated the pattern with better diagrams since then. The center green is the darkest green which is the same as the smallest geese. The gold was not used anywhere else in the quilt. It’s still one of my favorite quilts today.
      Thank you so much.

  2. Glad you caught those final edits before you started quilting. This quilt is really pretty, I like the yellow in the center, it seems to make the star shine.

    1. Oh me too. It still would have quilted out and I hope I got the pieced in the correct spot this time, if not it will remain as is. Thank you for stopping by.
