Wow, I can’t believe I have not sewn a single stitch this week.  My spare time has been spent cutting my next project that consists of over 6000 pieces. After 5 evenings straight cutting I have to take a break. This is only about half the patches.

GO! Quilt is an online program on the AccuQuilt website. There are over 500 pre-designed patterns ranging in size from hot pads to full quilts. You can upload you fabric or use the pre-loaded fabrics to preview fabrics before making the quilt. Once you’re happy with the color layout, save and print the pattern.The printed pattern even include yardage estimates.

To help promote this giveaway  I decided to  make one of the over 500  quilts in the GO! Quilt program myself.  The quilt I decided to make is the Flash of Lightening quilt that finishes at 48″ x 60.

My quilt may be a little larger or a little smaller depending on my fabric.  The fabric I am using are remnants from the Speakeasy Collection from Island Batik. If you missed my reveal of Mardi Gras you can see it here.

I know, the monochrome isn’t very attractive but when I put it all together I wont be looking at the colors of fabric. Instead I have separated the fabrics according to their values.

The design includes half square triangles and squares with two borders. This is gonna be fun.
